If you’re not 50/50 on this you’re not being serious. I don’t know what the hell is going on and neither do you and of course it’s possible but we just don’t know. Every extra day I think it’s more likely he’s brain dead but on life support otherwise why hasn’t we seen something, anything.

What would the motive be? If anything Democrats benefit from such a fraud. The Kentucky governor no longer has authority under KY law to make a replacement. If he is actually dead, withholding the death certificate would be a criminal act by the doctor.

All that matters is whether he's alive or dead. There's no evidence that he's dead. The GOP would benefit from him dying. If he was dead, they would tell everyone. You've gotten so sucked into conspiratorial thinking that you haven't considered that the conspiracy theory doesn't make any sense.

Lmao at “I don’t know and neither do you” being conspiratorial thinking. Get a grip. Let’s say he’s brain dead on life support. Does anyone actually know what that means? Is this an environment where anyone’s going out on a limb?

If he's "brain dead on life support," that's still his seat until January. Those are the rules. There is nothing anyone can do to remove him unless he either a.) dies, b.) resigns, or c.) gets expelled by the senate.

I think it's conspiratorial thinking to believe that he actually died and the Republican Party is hiding it for some reason. By the very definition of the term, that's a conspiracy theory. There's no real motive for them to do that, either.

If you’re whole reason for this engagement with me is an overly literal definition of conspiracy (a group of guys concealing something) I’d just remind you that the pejorative understanding of “conspiracy theory” is distinct from that and you should keep them separate because conspiracies do happen.

He could be some version of dead and they’re not sharing it merely because they don’t know what to do, want to protect his privacy, etc. We don’t know and we also don’t need to pretend we know if we don’t.
