kate bush’s husband28 июл., 01:13It’s actually crazy to me that there hasn’t been a straight up action Evangelion video game since 1999. Not counting the Super Robot Wars appearances
Brawli28 июл., 01:48I dunno. Part of me thinks making a purely action games goes against the intent of Eva; it's all a deconstruction of how supremely fucked up it is to ask teenagers to pilot these things and overall the mecha and angel lore plays backseat to the character exploration and resolution.
aurelia and aureliette will see the stars28 июл., 01:19it is weird, even just "a videogame", there're very few, and it has gotten even weirder now they're doing collabs/crossovers with everything.
Derek Glazener28 июл., 01:20I just want a Rampage rerelease. My favorite 80’s arcade game and just disappeared. There’s a great game like it called ‘terror of hemasaurus’ but I miss the classic series. Even the PS1 version was okay but disappeared.
Maddy B. Hare (evil mode)28 июл., 01:32I keep thinking of trying out that old N64 game, what an interesting artifact that is.
The Greasy Thumb28 июл., 01:33Evangelion is entirely about putting off the action sequence because it's really hard. No one has yet made a game where the tension is whether you will fight aliens or procrastinate because of teenage angst.
Piorn28 июл., 03:06NGE fans will tell you that's it's not about the "action" and actually about the human condition or how piloting your mom would suck balls, but then why are all the designs and fights so fucking cool?!? Put me in the robot, I want to feel something!
