I call bullshit. A) Solar only works during the day, and B) Spain doesn't have anything like the battery storage capacity to see it through the night. And C) was it really that windy?

1. They are referring to the daytime. Not day in a date sense. 2. Wind and hydro work at night.

My dictionary says that a day is 24 hours long, and on average that means that at least 12 hours a day are without the sufficient Sun for photovoltaics . Also, the wind doesn't always blow, and hydro (or tidal) are a joke in terms on global electrical generation.
