The Merrick Garland affair still shocks me and merits a concomitant response from Dems. Additionally, as far a Mitch's condition goes, Thomas Kean demonstrated that you don't need to show up for 4 months and it just doesn't seem to matter. We won't see "live action Mitch" until 1/3/27.

McConnell understood that what Democrats call "brazen hypocrisy," Republicans call "winning." Why Democrats still don't get it remains a mystery.

Seems to me that, by refusing to let Obama fill a Supreme Court vacancy, McConnell did as much to secure Trump’s 2016 victory as James Comey did.

At least economically, I disagree with this sentence: "While both parties have moved away from the center ideologically, Republicans have moved farther and faster." Dems have moved hard to the right economically over his time in the Senate.
