Fuck—and I cannot stress this enough—you. You deserve that blame, yet it sounds like despite how many people have been harmed or killed, you refuse to own the part you played. Grow up and vote like a goddamned adult who can count, not a spoiled, privileged child.

I’m of two minds here. On the one hand, it’s everyone’s right to not vote if they don’t want to. On the other, a leftist who won’t vote for a center-left candidate can’t complain when their far-right opponent wins & enacts far-right policies. You get what you vote for, even if you don’t vote.

You're an unserious asshole. I know because in 2000, *I* was that unserious asshole. "No difference between Gore & Bush," I said, as I volunteered for & voted for Nader. Had Gore won, no Iraq war, no John Roberts & Alito on the court & none of their horrible decisions. I learned my lesson.

Yeah that attitude is pure decadence. And the decadent government we now have reflects the decadence of all the voters and potential voters.
