The United States is considering a large-scale special operations mission to seize enriched uranium from fortified Iranian nuclear sites, the New York Post reported Saturday.

As a podcaster and author, anything that reduces the number of Navy SEALs who live to retirement is of benefit to my industry.

Navy seals are amazing. I think it’s the easiest pipeline to get a book deal.

Marines can also get it done, just much messier and louder.

You'd have to drop a few battalions of Seabees to take some of those sites. Those guys are cool.

But then who will keep the Walmart book section stocked with self help books with titles like "Secrets of the Warrior Ethos?"

@lionsledbydonkeys.bsky.social also benefits

Yeah but it also raises the likelihood of some sort nuclear zombie SEAL which seems suboptimal.

Jesus Robert! 😂

Is this how we make social security solvent again?

I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I

It's just the fan sub for cyberpunk 2077. They splintered off the main cyberpunk 2077 sub when the launch went poorly.

More like a series of grunts than a stutter

okay so what you’re saying is your navy seals episodes weren’t just a timely coincidence

Timely considering the Seals episodes😆

Tbh, it's a win for humanity all around.

Funny that you just did the series on the SEALs and then the military goes "We should feed some SEALs to a meat grinder"

Ever meet a real, actual ex-SEAL who didn't go on to become an officer before retiring? If you have, you know they're the dumbest sociopaths you've ever met that look like they might have been athletic once.

My elementary school computer teacher in like '91. He used big mac Styrofoam clamshells to make the wall into a big keyboard and walked around with a pool cue. Later they switched him to the middle school where he would sometimes dig his seal ring into the top of our heads

Sounds like a totally normal human.

My dad was MACVSOG and is still one of the smartest, scariest people you will meet. Not in the bullshit Rambo way, but the quiet wolf don't fuck with me way. The type you describe are always either really polite or weirdly in love with me as his daughter. Either way, YUCK.

Ответ для daughterofwitches

However, British SAS and Aussie SOG are absolutely awesome to be around. They are like the cool older brothers who think of dangerous things to do when Mom isn't paying attention.

I knew one of the original members when the transition to SEAL in Vietnam happened. Grandpa looking dad with suspenders who was a CPA and sold insurance. He never talked about it. My brother knew him better and told me some 2nd hand stories when they were drinking.

Ответ для nathanrmcgrew

Interviewed a Vietnam CIA Army pilot. Grandpa in a sweater vest and button up shirt fresh from Sunday mass. He told me off record stories of MACVSOG guys he had aboard his Cessna. Scary guys for sure.

When Meet the Parents came out I was told repeatedly by high school friends that there was a new documentary about my dating life. Dad was recon, and says if you got into a fire fight, you had fucked up.

Ответ для daughterofwitches

Now he spends his time watching WW2 documentaries and arguing with his grandkids.

Then, I know guys my age that were SEALs from 2004-2015 or so. Through them, I met more (there are so many now), and each was a cookie cutter of the other, sociopathic idiots with good hand eye coordination.

Ответ для nathanrmcgrew

Yeah, unfortunately that seems to be most of them now because most people like my dad have other, better options than the military and it only attracts the psychos who want to hurt people.

My dad's description of Hell Week is literally "every day I decided to run away, but when I finally got a chance after 12 hours of torture, I would pass out and then wake up to a new version of misery". I don't think I've ever heard him brag about it in my life.

Your "Rogue Warrior" readings were nearly spot on to the opening talk down on classic Lorenzo Lamas vehicle Renegade, by the way.
