I mean, the FBI cared enough that they murdered our leaders and ran a mass surveillance campaign for more than 50 years. Also Puerto Rico IS a nation rich in resources, w/ a strategic location, that’s why the US invaded us in the first place. It’s why we were Spain’s key to the Caribbean.
nonrevFrankly why would the FBI care if the PR was part of the US or not? Most Americans don't care. I don't think the US Gov't cares. PR is not a resource rich country or of any strategic importance. The value to America is in the culture and the people, not something material the FBI would murder for
