No one got into science because they just needed a gig. Every scientist that made it past a bachelor’s degree did so because their curiosity outweighed the need for money and personal time. Not sure you’re ever going to find one that would say “No.”

Aside from the obvious sociological reasons, there's also the fact that....real animals don't behave like they do in the movies. They aren't as persistent or as eager to hunt low-reward targets like humans, especially if they're way bigger than us. They'd still be dangerous, but not like JP dinos.

If Jurassic Park was real and there was a 50/50 chance of the dinosaurs escaping and eating me, I'd probably still go.

Of course I'd go to Jurassic Park. What kind of a question is that? If I'm going to be eradicated by the monsters unleashed by egomaniac grifters with more money than sense anyway, I'd much rather they be dinosaurs than unregulated gambling and global famine.

Having *watched* the movie, I would still probably say yes.

I watched Jurassic Park in full for the first time last night. My take was I’d have let the dinosaurs have those kids. They were too dumb and annoying to live.

Who would turn down a weekend vacation to a tropical island for three years of funding? Even without the dinosaurs that sounds like an amazing opportunity. With the dinosaurs it's fantastic*. *contingent on survival

I’ve known lots of American archaeologists and field biologists and they would go anywhere to do anything for anyone at any time Their foreign counterparts however are properly funded by their respective governments so would never end up being chased by dinosaurs

My mom took me to see Jurassic Park so I took her to see Jurassic World and she asked me after if I would still go, instantly, I said "yes, 100%, I would live there" You couldn't stop me from trying to pet every dinosaur there.

Even knowing the ending Id still sign up. My toxic trait is believing that my childhood love for dinosaurs would somehow shield me from their ripping talons

If anyone would say no to the chance to see live non avian dinosaurs they are either lying or not good people.
