Worth noting that this is what it takes for National to rule you out: wanting to tax rich people more. NZ First hadn't been ruled out for promoting transphobia or racism, nor has ACT, though issues aren't deal breakers for National

Q Wing's comments made me roll my eyes a little, she continues to talk as if politics is people getting together to find the best ideas to govern the country, when that's not how it works, different parties represent different class interests, National represents large landholders in particular

I think this is my fundamental problem with TOP. Talking about politics like this displays (at least in my view) either: * A total lack of understanding of how and why political power is contested by different interests or: * A blatantly disingenuous attitude to talking about their actual values
