I think it's bad for business too, though. Infuriating your season ticket holders and your fan base. Tanking the team. Demonstrating no loyalty to players or fans. Who will want to play there? Who will watch? Who will buy merch? We had jerseys of 3 players who just got traded. Why spend on those?
All good points. They will point to the long term signings of Alonso, Basallo, Bradish, and Baz as reasons to hope, but that’s hard when they sell important pieces around those players for maybes.
