i find it fairly inarguable that nearly every on-paper socialist would entirely pass on revolutionary ideals for a left-liberalism that Fucking Tried Anything just like it did a century ago. i dont have the inclination to inveigh on whether thats good or bad, even, it just seems facially true atm
