Update! I should have switched to Clip Studio Paint years ago lol

I just cancelled my Photoshop subscription- I genuinely can't keep paying out the ass every year for this shit. Does anyone have any good alternative software suggestions? Both for digital painting/photo editing? My most used tools are the lasso tool, clipping masks, and the levels adjustment layers

I would love to use it on my Samsung tablet but there's no way to simply buy the app. You need to do a monthly/annual subscription (goodness only knows why) and I'm just opposed to that nonsense. So, I'll just keep using Infinite Painter.

also so many people upload amazing tools on the asset store that are either reasonably priced or completely free! There's so many that I just try out to see if anything becomes a new regular for me lol

The lasso fill tool is a godsend! Also you can download a lasso eraser tool as well 😌 I think I ended up making a poly-lasso fill tool myself as well (for straight edge shapes + fill). I swapped 5 years ago after using PS for 15 years. It was a learning curve but well worth it ✨
