If only we had some very clear evidence of climate change to help make these policies seem less radical.

Radical is not a term that many people would use to describe Milliband. Britain accounts for less than 1.5% of the world's carbon emissions. Closing down the UK gas and oil industry to expensively importing energy our is just stupid. Promoting this idiot Miliband is ridiculous.

Carbon Capture and Storage is a brain fart strongly supported by Miliband. Horrendously costly (to the public), long track record of failure and underperformance, liked by no-one but fossil-fuel lobbyists, dangerous, and does nothing but pass the problem to future generations. So when one industry stops or slows down it’s usually at the emergence of new technology. In this case renewables. Surely that must require people to carry out work or have we gone fully AI and robots already and don’t require actual people anymore

Getting off fossil fuels not only create bunch of new well paying jobs, it ensures that people in these jobs will have a (slim) chance to enjoy they retirement in livable world. It’s not about “future for your grandkids” anymore… it’s about “will I survive next summer”.

Fossils fuels are byproduct of our planets natural Carbon capture system. One of the fundamental laws of nature is that energy cannot be made or destroyed, just transformed from one form into another. Releasing millions of year’s of the suns energy in a few generations is planetary suicide.

Graham is a disgrace. She consistently abuses her position in order to undermine all in the Lab movement she disagrees with. That would be everyone but the Socialist Campaign group. Her job is to defend and promote her members' best interests but her ego-driven approach is on a par with Trump's.
