Please be gentle with me but I don’t entirely understand the issue? This isn’t generative AI trained off of art theft and it’s fan translation so it’s not like it’s a corporation cutting jobs and charging money. It doesn’t seem much different than using Google Translate? Genuinely trying to learn!

Apparently, the project didn't disclose this until *after* this joke was posted, making it look like they're making the joke to downplay the actual issue when it's a deeply unfortunate coincidence.

A long time ago I played a machine translated version of Welcome House 2 and... it made no sense.
