I love Bluesky but some of the quick takes of Beshear not fighting is turning my stomach.

I find that the number of people here who know next to nothing about how the government works is unsettling, to say the least.

I spent a lot of my life in Kentucky since my dad & all of his siblings & parents live there, & the problem is people keep ignoring the fact that he doesn't have to call a special election, that isn't the main option or request, but it's the one y'all focus on & carefully avoid addressing the rest.

Yeah but he's the TWO-TERM DEMOCRATIC governor of the state. So he has won two statewide elections as a Democrat. And it's impossible for a Democrat to win a Senate seat in a blue wave year?

He’s letting Republicans dangle and dance about all of this and McConnell and the GOP look ridiculous. I’m 100 percent in favor of whatever the last statewide Democrat Kentucky will elect in my lifetime decides is the best path.
