This will make appeals to Article 3 courts much more effective for those immigrants able to actually get to that point. I assume the Board of Immigration Appeals is also being/has been similarly stacked.

The job description wants experienced people. I don’t think there are many experienced litigators who: 1) aren’t making equal money doing a job they like, and 2) are evil enough to do this. anyone not working, there is a lot of sand to throw in the gears!

This is a good argument against the rising gig economy in the law as well. Some lawyers might be tempted by federal benefits that otherwise they can’t get from private employers. (Don’t get me started on how we as a country produce too many lawyers).
