One of my favorites on the platform! It's easy to use emulators for turn based games, but reliving action platformers on a touchscreen (smartphone, tablet) *will* make you homicidal. Real buttons are the best
Michael FlynnIt’s alive. Sort of.
Data Scientist, #rstats Might also post pictures of my weirder cat, I guess.

One of the reasons I have remained an IC instead of managing a team is stuff like this. Recently discussed proj follow-up w/ an internal "client" & it consisted of reading copilot bullet points to us The instant it ended I msg'd my manager: if they do that again I'm leaving the meeting immediately
Mattan S. Ben-ShacharMade a detailed analysis plan for a client to run. A week later they email me results to review. They don't match our discussed plan at all. What happened? They didn't understand some of my suggestions - did they email me to get clarifications? No - they asked Claude to "fill in the blanks".
That Oasis became popular is baffling to me. The quality of the music itself is middling, and Liam's singing is overrated (and his singing style was unsustainably harsh on his throat). The Gallagher brothers are toolsheds, to boot, so I can dislike them while maintaining inner peace.
G-Rated Sex JamPost your hottest music take. Mine is New Order is better than Joy Division.
Before we built our current house, the last place we lived had an "addition" so the owner could take care of his aging mother. It was so poorly done -- and designed to last as long as she did -- it was primarily insulted by... wasp nests. Just an unbelievable amount of work my FIL and I had to fix
Mark Riekemy wife and I hauled >10,000 lbs of garden rock out of our backyard because the previous owner a) built a massive koi pond b) later on filled it with garden rocks
That the Flygon evolution line is ground/dragon instead of bug/dragon. EXPLAIN THIS Vibrava is obviously an antlion. This is a bug! *Shakes fist at sky*
Sanjay SrivastavaWhat is an extremely nerdy/obscure/specific thing you hate with a white-hot wrath?
Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, or Alice in Chains (I've been forced by circumstances to point out how excellent this album is on many occasions.)

Rolled credits on Hades 2 It's good, but I was much less engaged than w/ Hades 1. Very quickly I was skipping dialogue bc I just didn't care abt the story. The balance is probably "better", but it was less fun as a result. Many fewer totally cracked runs, which is too bad bsky.app/profile/tidd...
tiddlydumpAnd I guess based on the accountability mechanism that is "I said something on Bluesky that one time" I'll be checking out Hades 2 next
If someone can get Stephen Stanton to do it with the same affect as his narration of 2013's The Cave, and I'll sign up *right now* youtu.be/p5br6aYHmqU?...
You suddenly get a narrator describing your life and there’s no way to turn it off - everyone can hear it. While shopping, at work, at home, with friends - the voice narrating your every move goes on. Who do you hope is the voice of this narrator?
Saw this linked about a year ago, skipped through some parts, and bookmarked it. youtu.be/VDlnuO96p58 When I returned to it this week, to my delight, there were 4 videos in a series (with more to come, I hope). It's really great! I love the intuition you can build w/ simple animated visuals +
