Revelation while grading LIS student papers: Wikipedia is intensely peer reviewed. The credentials of the reviewers are (often) different than those of academic reviewers, but presumably Wikipedians mostly edit in their areas of expertise. #GradingProcrastination

Today in reference class we're talking about gov docs. I was pleasantly surprised to see usa.gov/es still exists. Doesn't "pequeñas empresas" sound way cuter than "small businesses"? Same with "Prepararse para la jubilación" instead of "Approaching retirement."

We are incredibly grateful to be the recipient of one of this year's Jen Angel Anarchist Media Grants. About a year ago we ran out of space to store all of the queer zines that have been donated or acquired by our archive, and this grant's funding will be going to rectify that. #circleaarchivists
