ooh yeah, I recently picked up Never, Never Land cheap from somewhere (can't quite remember where) and it's... ok? it's far from terrible, but I also can't remember much about it. obviously not a patch on PF, but didn't make me want to investigate any other latter period Unkle either

yeah, I definitely needed a best of rather than this particular album as I don't mind a lot of their stuff, but it's mainly the singles tbh

Never much of a Blur guy tbh, so I thought I'd revisit The Great Escape and Parklife, as I remember having one of them as a teen, but couldn't remember which one. Turns out it didn't really matter as both are just fucking awful. Some decent-ish singles, but for the most part: ho boy. 3/10

I mean, we all joked about comic sans and everything, but what I wouldn't give to see it on a poster these days instead of that fucking dreadful slop font. Would go to war for comic sans, I would run through a wall for times new roman. Impact, I take back everything I said about you.

Oh nice, yeah I really enjoyed Depths. Picked up Allegiance and Conviction for starters and loved how that sounded as well - some amazing textures and beautiful melancholy, my favourite kind of music haha

I didn't know much Windy & Carl until you mentioned them here btw Rafael, but I've been awash in their back catalgoue and it's absolutely sublime!

They started life more as a slowcore/ post-rock band, but as they got older and shed members, focused in on this post-punk stuff with each record, so it's quite a nice little discography they've got. Played one of my first gigs with them too, way back when. GBOL
