#EchoesOfTheEye, day 3. Did three more loops. Figuring things out, a bit at a time. I found one of those "convenient shortcuts that was always there". I now feel like I know what I'm supposed to do to finish this… even if I don't know "how" to do it yet.

I wonder if it was just because they didn't want to have to bother re-rendering the opening sequence FMV…

That PLUS I loved not having to worry about the screen getting scratched up anymore when I put the thing into my pockets or a bag…

#EchoesOfTheEye, day 2. Figured a few little things out. But still left with the idea of not really knowing where to start.

I want to pick up one of the 8bitdo N64 controllers.

#EchoesOfTheEye, day 1. (I finished the main game a few months ago and I have another thread about that.) I accessed the ship and… not knowing what to expect… man, it was kind of trippy when I saw what the inside is like. I only did one loop, but there are some interesting threads to pull on.

#12: Star Fox (2026) #StarFox July 4 – July 25

#StarFox, day 20. Short session, just finishing up the expert challenges in Venom 2. And that's a wrap for this game! All medals and challenges done. Some of the challenges were intense but I liked doing it. This was a great remaster and it falls into the "sad to be done with" category. More soon.

#StarFox, day 19. Finished expert challenges at Bolse and Venom 1. Bolse was harder than I thought it would be. Venom 1 was also hard, but I expected that. Finishing the boss in 45 seconds? I used flew dangerous to stay close, used seven bombs, and still had less than one second to spare.

#StarFox, day 18. Finished up challenges for Titania and Area 6. (Area 6 is my favorite course! It was tough, but this was a blast.) Down to the last three. I'm a little worried about Venom 1, that was the hardest one for me to finish the "normal" challenges on and also the hardest expert medal.

#StarFox, day 17. Challenges done in Sector Z and Macbeth. Just five courses left…

I love the call screening bot that they have on smartphones these days.

#StarFox, day 16. Challenges done in Solar and Sector X. Solar was tough because of the RNG for bomb drops… and there is barely enough time to take the boss out in 55 seconds.

#StarFox, day 15. Finished expert challenges on Fichina and Zoness. Also, partial campaign run to get the Solar expert medal… and that's all of the medals in the bag. 9 courses left to finish expert challenges on.

#StarFox, day 14. Finished up expert challenges at Sector Y, Aquas, and Katina. The hardest today was the one about getting 100 kills at Aquas before taking damage… Whew.
