#EchoesOfTheEye, day 3.
Did three more loops. Figuring things out, a bit at a time. I found one of those "convenient shortcuts that was always there". I now feel like I know what I'm supposed to do to finish this… even if I don't know "how" to do it yet.
#EchoesOfTheEye, day 4.
Didn't have long to play today but still managed to figure out a few things, gaining access to a new area. I feel like I'm close to cracking this thing but there are still a couple of pieces that elude me…
#EchoesOfTheEye, day 6.
Still trying to figure out what's going on here, without being spooked too much. This DLC bit does do a good job with guiding you towards what it "wants you to know" and it seems to have a bit more narrow direction and structure than the base game did.
#EchoesOfTheEye, day 7.
I thought that maybe I'd be able to wrap this up today… but I can only be creeped out for so long. I did find all of the hinted secret areas and have a pretty good idea of what they're asking me to do for the end game (for real this time).
#EchoesOfTheEye, day 8.
Done. But, man. The stealth bit towards the end, trying to find my way to the widget to light the bridge, with antler owl guys chasing me, with a time limit bearing down, in almost complete darkness, was too much. I looked up a hint to skip it.
Other than that, I did really enjoy puzzling out this whole area, and I had two "wow" moments which I will describe when I write about this in more depth soon. Another very well put together puzzle box from this team. I'll be looking when they announce any future projects.
