but back to my point, I don't think people really understand how badly state and federal regulatory autonomy have been eroded by the courts? like these articles all still exist in an alternative reality where there are still competent people in charge of environmental/consumer protection?
Goddamn, what a mean thing to say at a guy's funeral.
Aaron RuparHannity: "My President, Lindsey probably has a heavenly version of Mar-a-Lago. It may even be a little bigger. I wouldn't be surprised if he added one big beautiful ballroom and an arch somewhere on the property. Because he would want to obviously duplicate his dearest friend in life. You."
“The whole process felt very accusatory,” she added, “[as if] we were being retroactively criminalized for something the state had approved and stamped.” Normally, a driver’s license is taken away from someone who’s broken a law. But she hadn’t done anything wrong. newrepublic.com/article/2124...
I’d be very interested to hear from current or recent law students on whether they agree with this argument that fairness concerns justify switching to closed-book exams.

That Hamas doesn't have the capacity to sustain its butchery and that Israeli retribution is disproportionate is true. This still defines Hamas as butchers. And the Israelis as disproportionately ruthless. And to the extent the IDF is indifferent to civilian death, as war criminals, just like Hamas.
Hamas is the government of Gaza. Their patron in the pursuit of unmitigated violence was the Iranian regime. Netanyahu's Likud-led is the government of Israel, his patron the U.S. Not sure what ratio you require before you get to the pivotal point of refusing to tolerate either team of extremists.
