Yup, they are specifically targeting reservations because they know we often lack important infrastructure, like electricity, internet or water.

It was absolutely a scam. These were land speculators who rebelled because the crown made agreements to stop expanding (aka take Indigenous land in the area) which Washington in particular depended on financially. Add enslavement of other humans to that and every one of their ideals is a lie.

Waiting to confirm, but there's talks of a vigil at Say Their Names in Minneapolis tonight — Wednesday, 7/29, marking 1 week since Corey Ruiz was killed. There's also this vigil tomorrow at Currie Park in Minneapolis

Optimally it should be "No Data Centers", but the fact that reservations and Trust land in general (because a number of rez's were disbanded to give "excess" lands to settlers) have a lack of safe drinking water while we are giving data centers millions of gallons a day should be seen as connected.

This is the root of the problem, corporate pollution of land, air, and water disproportionately affects marginalized people. If you have any doubts check the lead levels of kids in "poor" neighborhoods.
