Kiddo put their art into a public contest for ATCO Electric boxes in Whitehorse. Long process. Their art selected! They got paid! Then had NO idea when/where it was installed. We thought a subdivision we don't visit, maybe. Found it! Downtown, just not a corner we frequent.

Fish cakes from leftover canned sockeye salmon. My fish cakes are "Maritime" style (half cooked potato), with other seasonings: fish sauce, soya sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, pepper, thyme. Served with bok choy dressed with fried garlic and oyster sauce, soya, sugar, cooking wine. #food 🍜

Am at the lists of lists stage of river trip prep.: what needs to be checked (not much left, thank DOG), what needs to be replaced, the non-perishable food (buy now) the perishable food (buy day before), washing/bleaching kitchen gear, packing, getting the booze and (IMPORTANT) the toilet paper.
