I find Daggerheart really frustrating as so many bits of it are a brilliant rework of things that are annoying about D&D, but then there are loads of rules that don't seem to have been fully thought through and you can even see Matt Mercer having to overrule things to make it work.

That's the best hope for the franchise. Everything else has been cancelled and a reset would give them chance to move away from cowboy dinosaurs and back to what they were doing in the first couple seasons.

There is. I am a huge GiTS fan and have seen/read every adaptation. The new anime is almost shot-for-shot faithful to the manga and… I kinda hate it? I think SAC is better than the manga, but I still enjoy the manga. This version is somehow just grating, though.

Yeah. I assumed he knew where the skeletons were buried, but it also makes sense for him to just be financing films in return for the parts he wants.
