Lot of that happening. Conservatives trying to put their thumbs on the scale in all kinds of Dem campaigns, with not much success that I can see. All that money wasted that they could just pay in taxes to help make the country better.

Counter point: you could, at that point, just pay artists to generate art. What a completely moronic idea. I believe their company will have either gone bankrupt, been bought out, or "pivoted" to some other grift by this time next year.

Of course it changed a lot since I was a kid. The checkout desk used to be right under the dome. There were two wings, and archives in the basement. But at some point in the 1990's after I moved to MD, they raised funds and built an addition on the back and revamped the layout.

It's the same as using an electric can opener to open a can is me "doing work." The only work I did was to fumble with the can for five minutes trying to get it into the right position so it can achieve a semblance of "open." Do your own writing. You'll be happier for it. Authors, not algorithms

The "free" market is an illusion. What the United States wants and needs are well-regulated markets that behave, not this out-of-control nonsense which enriches the few at the expense of a functioning society.

Very absurd. Any genuine website interested in working with authors would provide a contact form or email for anyone to use. "With Author Content" is such a bald-faced lie.

Hysterical. My favorite bit was when Karen kept trying to re-open the incident report regarding the security issue and the automated systems rate limited her account for “patterns consistent with automated behaviour.”

For me, though, it'll be hard to supplant Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? as the best Odyssey adaptation. Strays much further from the source material than Nolan does, but is perhaps one of the great treats of late 20th century film making. If you've never seen it, do. Also features fake beards.

Also, I was surprised to learn Armand Assante has kept working since he starred in that adaptation. His career really fell down the well after that and his Judge Dredd appearance.
