Anyone have any good ways to flatten vinyl? It’s not a particilarly special record, but I bought it at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and would like to keep it around. Decent warp though near the edge #vinyl #record #music #spinning

@shallok.bsky.social I just don’t get the argument against a cap/floor in MLB and how it wouldn’t work. Even Formula 1 has a spending cap. Why is MLB viewed as some special entity?

@richhillfan.bsky.social so the revenue from the capped league that plays 1/10th the games, in winter, with 1/5th the total attendance, dwarfs the uncapped league revenue wise, but you can’t justify in any way that a cap would plausibly make the league more profitable for all involved?

@edwardgreene.us I’d see that as a good stepping stone to a cap and avoid a cancelled 2027 season.

@richhillfan.bsky.social my man, stop drinking the kool aid. The top 10 players in the NFL (cap) make $543M across 10 teams compared to MLB (no cap) $450M across 6. A cap forces Nutting to spend because it has a floor. Wage suppression is non existent in all other capped sports
