It pops up across LinkedIn, smelling strongly of LLM. But have spotted it in supposedly human-written copy in reputable newspapers, & reckon authors have bathed too long in AI slop and absorbed in their prose.

Not sure if it’s a people thing, an LLM thing, or a people being influenced by LLM thing, but OMG can folks please cut out “the distinction matters” from their writing?

I can see that intelligently deploying AI needn’t do either. But can also see that anyone outsourcing their thinking and emotional support to an LLM could find themselves mentally and emotionally degraded.
