We’ve had steady hot water for three days now! Landlords don’t want to pay for plumbing. And there’s this weird thing down here where they literally tell you if you didn’t use things they wouldn’t break so just don’t use them and it’ll be fine. My house has more pipes and valves than a WWII sub.

Yeah, rained pretty hard (by our standards) for a couple of hours. Also lost power a couple of times, forcing us to give up on our Tubi shark movie because it would start over each time.

Brrrr!! It wasn’t quite perfect here either…

And lest we forget, there was no legitimate investigation led to his indictment. It was all done because the most powerful man in the world needs a scapegoat for his lie and has aimed his wrath at an everyday citizen who he’ll continue to savage and torment.

Not saying it is. Saying there are structural issues the Dodgers take great advantage of. MLB can either choose to address those issues or not. But they have to decide if 20 straight playoff berths and 10 titles is OK with fans of non super teams.

The Dodgers are a billion dollar team in annual revenue. The Tigers are maybe a third of that. They allocate that money better than anyone, but they also have more than anyone.

It’s possible the looming work stoppage has something to do with it, but I really wonder if teams are starting to be gun shy about trying to compete with super teams unless they think they have the perfect hand.

I don’t think many orgs have the resources the Dodgers have or the hope to obtain them.

“Why bother? Why trade prospects just to get beat by the Ass-tros or Dodgers anyway?” I really think there’s a healthy dose of this going on. Competitive balance just isn’t there.
