I’ve said it before and I will say it again: No game needs to look more realistic than the PS2 Metal Gear Solid 3 or GameCube Resident Evil 4. Any more detail than what’s in those is just excess and diminishing returns. If anything, it gets in the way.

The He-Man movie is good, but I’m not surprised at all that it’s struggling. Unlike Transformers or Ninia Turtles there haven’t really been generational iterations outside of the 2000’s reboot, which underperformed. Millenials, Gen Z, and Y don’t know these characters outside of parody…

This article is SO fucking funny. "The real problem is there aren't enough 50+ game designers!" Yeah, agreed. Any thoughts on why that might be? Like maybe the fact that this industry fires treats anyone over 35 as "not hungry enough", and relies on burning out a steady stream of younger devs? no?
