I didn't see any insults, but there were several people just assuming I was American. Which is a very American thing to do. I find this fascinating as it's a country of immigrants that thinks it's where white people are from.

Agree, but there seems to be a general assumption by Americans they're talking to fellow Americans. Not always, but that does seem to be their default setting.

400+ likes later, way too many of you assumed I was American. Serious question: Where are you from and do you just assume you're talking to someone from your country when you're online? (My hypothesis is that only Americans do that)

They were surprised by a walk-in. To be fair, it was a couple, it is clearly their own business and they were trying!!

To be fair to them, I think they needed to confirm the price and then sort out the tax.

9% tax would be incorrect where I live. It's 13% here (But I spent 5 hrs in the hospital last week and it cost me $0, so I'm not complaining)

Seems like garlic butter was the issue, they had an garlic oil. It was pretty tasty. Not at all healthy but it wasn't gonna be, so I'm not complaining

I wish it would be 15 min! It'd be 2 hours and tears. I love her deeply, but her inability to find food that appeals is staggering.

They remembered I needed to pay but did not remember to give me a total. They pointed the debit machine at me so I couldn't read how much was owed, so I politely turned it so I could see it was correct This was very a first day open vibes. They've been open for weeks
