Reading Careless People, I've come to something of a realisation. Social media is good. It connects like-minded people and lets them chat. It's fun FB and Twatter aren't social media. They were, but not any more. They're something substantively different.

I'm not saying ALL the NHS is anti-patient. But we asked for a copy of my son's scan - a child of whom we are legal guardians - and were told they can't give it to us unless we go through the medico-legal department. Gate keepers, controlling the information to keep patients in the dark.
