I was expecting it to be silly, to be a bit rushed and do whatever was convenient to get to a happy ending. And sure it would have plot holes and characters conveniently forgetting what they could do - S1 did all that anyway. I just thought it would be fun

And it wasn't even interesting or fun on the journey to getting to such a tired and uninteresting conclusion. I saw a comment that the ending left things ambiguous but like no??? They wanted to sell reincarnation, so either you vibe with it or not PAS credits have never been 'the truth' before

The witty humour just wasn't there, the script wasn't interested in investing in the characters and instead just selected out 'funny moments' and 'obligatory story beats' to cart us to that confrontation with God with a cliche noble sacrifice and slap on a 'maybe next life' to attempt soften it

I was so ready to have a good time when I sat down to watch it, but everything felt off. Scenes like Slorch dragged on and when it finished it was annoying because it had brought nothing to the story. Everything to do with gambling was the same. We're killing air fryers so we can date this movie.

I genuinely wonder what it must be like to have enjoyed GO3 and not think the writing was dogshit start to finish Like I genuinely would have preferred nothing, I just felt like so much talent tried so hard to dress up a bad script - but I think I smiled like twice in the whole 90 mins #antigo3
