Because it was requested last week: Here’s a look at how I generally start my paintings compared to the final piece. I generally lay in all the technical decisions, on pose, lighting, and color composition, in the first 30-60 minutes of my piece, after which it’s all detailing.

Probably would’ve just been a drop in the bucket for him. Sounds like he was getting the shaft from all sides his whole career, so what’s one more?

For a while now, I’ve been wanting to do this. I’m going to start in this August, ahead of Month of Monsters 6 in October. The original 13 pieces. Remade.

This reminds me of how Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus were separated by about 76 million years. Tyrannosaurus is closer chronologically to us than to Stegosaurus, when I feel like a lot of people think of the days of the dinosaurs as a singular age, and not a 150 million year saga.

Yeah, the Stan Winston Godzilla was an inspiration, especially in the skull and leg formation!

Flashback to when I took a crack at redesigning Godzilla. I’m thinking about doing it again in the not too distant future. And this time it won’t just be the king.

I guess it depends on whether the Thing could digest and assimilate the Alien. That acid blood might pose a problem!

There’s some here and there, but you can hide it with filters, and they have (elective) markers to denote it. I still use ArtStation pretty regularly and have a mostly fine time with it.

I’m increasingly convinced they want to turn all of us into prison slaves, and it seems their pipeline for that involves pushing people out of their nests into the net.

Sure, and like I indicated with mentioning the Marvel and DC crossover comics, that still goes on today, but to my knowledge, what I’m describing specifically hasn’t occurred yet. I guess because Batman and Spider-Man have more name recognition than the aliens from Creature and Galaxy of Terror.

Weirdly, the closest it seems we’ve come to this is in the comics, where Marvel and DC’s heroes have done battle with the Alien.
