In Churus ads, the cats decorously lick/nibble the treat out of the tube opening. @wardepartment.bsky.social gave me some for my cats. Worst Cat took a lick and FREAKED THE HELL OUT. Lunged forward and started chomping half the tube at once. Smeared it all over his nose, ruff, chops, and the floor.
Finally caught up with OBSESSION, and now I regret to say I'm going to have to divorce my husband, never touch anyone else ever again, and move into a small, very brightly lit closet where I can see and touch all the walls at all times.
This is a tremendous tragedy. Marjane Satrapi's work remains so vital, so accessible, dark, funny, defiant, and educational. I'll never forget reading PERSEPOLIS and realizing I was getting a first-person window into an entire women's war I knew nothing about, one that was still being fought.
