We're planning some really exciting things for Tales Unwritten lately. We haven't confirmed everything yet, but so far it's shaping up to be really cool. And don't worry, it's not affecting Book 3's production.

The work @stephank.bsky.social puts into Tales is *insane* and the score never ceases to amaze new viewers who send very kind messages letting me know they've just binged Books 1 + 2 and now they're vibing to the soundtrack while they wait for the next season

Fun little story about Alex's design: I specifically wanted his poncho to have an over-the-shoulder, shawl kind of look, but wasn't able to phrase it well when describing it to Stephan. So, I grabbed a blanket, wrapped it around my neck, and took a picture to give reference material.

I just stayed up until 5am painting landscapes for @talesunwritten.com and compositing them in Blender using my own limited, human skillset. I'm not even that great a painter, but I certainly feel good about it when folks like this act like it's impossible for mere mortals.

I never showed off my character designs for Book 2 of @talesunwritten.com, so here's a few of them. I had a lot of fun conceiving and designing the Fauni cast, I looked for as many different kinds of sheep and goats as possible to take inspiration from. Turns out: there's a LOT of different kinds!

I can't remember if I ever promoted this here, but I produced an album for the score I made for Tales Unwritten. I'm really taking it seriously and putting a LOT of thought and time into the music of the show. Still happy with these tracks, which is a big deal for me lol

I binged all of @talesunwritten.com over the last two days and I am simply in awe of the story that they are crafting. I can’t wait to see what they do in book 3. When every day brings news of new atrocities, I appreciate media where characters have hope even in the face of oppression.
