my actual best guess is that the con organizers just don't live locally and it didn't occur to them that there'd be a conflict since their own city's pride is probably at a different time in the summer. still, feels like an oversight to bungle that a year in advance. hopefully they fix it next year?

unrelated but I looked up when my nearest big pride parade is this summer and I'm kinda baffled to learn that it's on the same weekend a furry con is scheduled in the same city. like, what were they (the con staff, not the city pride organizers) thinking with that one. surely they're not ALL cishet?

I have done 8+ hours of drawing (not just work in general. 8 hours of drawing specifically, I keep a timer active while I'm doing it) both yesterday and today and both my mind and body are really reminding me right now why I don't usually do that unless I have a tight deadline to meet

i also found a previous entire of pack of nibs in my drawer when i went to put away the pack i ordered a month ago (in the same drawer) so i feel this one very personally lmao

bats are hit-or-miss in terms of appealing to be but i do enjoy them just as a sort of Thing That Exists and some types ARE very cute and silly. moths are awesome and one of the only bugs i like but i am also still freaked out by insects flying close to me so i admire them from a safe distance
