We ought to be doing more problem based learning where pupils can learn about a range of topics in tandem as they look into things. This has been done successfully in other countries.

Completely agree with this. I've always thought we should have a core academic curriculum to 16 that goes beyond maths/english/science. And yes maths to 18 is in principle a good idea (if the quals are designed right and it's funded properly!)

She was in Manchester? I wondered why there was a cold chill coming out of the city.

Just Katie Hopkins spreading total bollocks about a non-existent stabbing after a man trapped his leg on a tram. But why delete it when it gets shared and liked by morons?

The lawyers acting for the BBC have issued 80 subpoenas to Trump, his family & associates to enable discovery about the defamation case he filed about the Jan 6 documentary.

As a youngster we went to the arcade at the seaside and the most scary thing (to me) was the laughing clown in a glass cage. 🤡 The interview with Trump's buddy made me shiver & I had flashbacks. youtu.be/u57XQpO82CQ?...

All MAJOR and SERIOUS political parties are getting involved. Kemi responded BUT Farage didn't, can we assume that Reform PLC are not interesting in solving social care? What about Reform voters then .. should they be excluded from any social care initiatives? Think on #Clacton when you vote.

Apologies - for a moment there I forgot that I'm not even an MP.

It is a brilliant place. Yet to go to the festival, but a tour of this place is a book lovers paradise.

The town of Hay-on-Wye in Wales is completely dedicated to books and has 26 bookshops but only 2000 residents. That’s one bookshop per 77 people. [📹 happyenchantedhome]

I remember as a child waiting for the RAC to come & sort out a family friends broken down vehicle we were travelling in for a day out. It broke down in Bolton-le-Sands. It was a Vandem Plas Princess (aka British Leyland) car. We waited 8 hours on the roadside. A quick fix & we could get home.

Sitting in a friend's new EV after reading on of the "Wasn't the 1970s Great?" threads. My main 70s motoring experience was being on first name terms with AA patrol men after waiting hours looking at the heap of rust and junk that was my car.

I would really like someone to explain in Noddy language how a private company -Reform- can also be a political party. There is something really odd about it.

Phil Brickell MP

As a former financial crime compliance specialist for more than 10 years, I’ve never heard of a British political party unable to access its banking facilities *during an election* The Times reports this follows SARs being filed with the National Crime Agency. What on earth is going on at Reform?

Ignoring the fact that Miliband was leader and of the opposition at the time, and refused to support military action without a clear plan - after a decade in Afghanistan and Iraq. This was Cameron’s failure as PM. Not Miliband’s as Leader of the Opposition.

Thanks Neil What a start .. "Dear Neighbour" 😂 The whingeathon is clearly continuing No news about what benefits there are for #Clacton or its people if they vote him back in. They deserve better than this wind bag @13sarahmurphy.bsky.social @ledbydonkeys.org

Yeah, we got one of those too.

It is Reform .. because of the way it operates. Change that and his merry band of misfits don't have anything of substance.

Anti-Reform

"It's obvious that Farage calling a fake by-election in Clacton isn't going to stop all the parliamentary investigations into him, so this is why he's screaming for a general election, because that effectively resets parliament. Farage is desperate, he knows he's in serious trouble" via We Demand UK
