I think the reason Boots Theory is so enticing is that it implies a sort of class consciousness whenever we buy something we wished lasted longer. The valence is directionally true (experiencing poverty is expensive) and it means we can feel solidarity when we get frustrated at Amazon.

Slay the Spire is a decent deckbuilder if you enjoy basic gameplay. But there are so many great indie deckbuilders on Steam. Just try… _immediately hauled off_
