just learned that the castlevania lords of shadow series is on steam removing my main excuse to not play them being "7th gen console emulation sucks" or "playing ps3 games on playstation plus makes me wanna gouge my eyes out" so i GUESS IM PLAYING lords of shadow now

devils advocate i think a 2 game ff6 remake would work. i think the world of ruin could do with being fleshed out a bit more and i think there are plot threads that feel unresolved in a not artistically intended way and either rewriting it to feel intended or wrapping them up would be nice

julius mode is really quite good in dawn of sorrow. maybe like. 50% because it skips the magic seals. but the draculas curse style character swapping is fun too

it is so not fun to lose a hard boss fight because you cant do the quick time event good enough after killing them so they get half their health back
