If you think #LongCovid is just a few minor symptoms you can learn to live with, and move on with life as you’ve always known it, read this. One man‘s story. There are MANY of us.

Food should be safe enough that children, elderly, sick, and people with chronic conditions can eat.

Kelly

When people die and the media says they had “pre-existing conditions”… they’re pacifying the public. Anyone could die from Cyclosporiasis, but they want you to believe it can’t happen to you. It can only happen to the weak, the disabled, the elderly. The expendable people. Eugenics.

I’ve been writing a counter narrative of shutdowns that has me revisiting media from that time. And let me tell you, the only other option was everybody die. So yeah.

it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy

Honestly one of the things that makes me most angry is our failure to protect children Many kids will have had several COVID infections before they can even speak Many will have long COVID before they even enter school We are disabling entire generations And it will come back to haunt us

Looks like we've hit the "with cyclospora not from cyclospora" phase

The New York Times

Breaking News: Two deaths in Michigan have been linked to cyclospora. Both people who had the parasite also had underlying health issues.

Please stop saying “lockdowns.” There were never true lockdowns in the US, and it fuels far right narratives to repeat this inaccurate statement. You can say closures, you can say restrictions, or better, you can say public health measures which saved many lives.

Dr. Lucky Tran

People still complain about “lockdowns” but we had none in the US. We had stay-at-home orders, where although businesses were closed, you could still go outside whenever you wanted. Other countries had far stricter rules, and yet have been much more accepting of them as they saved many more lives.

California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawai'i are experiencing ongoing COVlD outbreaks. Use layered protection, encourage local media to cover COVlD to protect communities, and urge public health programs to promote boosters and offer free N95s and tests.

One of my Crank Theories of Everything, at least of Everything in the Recent Past, is that we are dealing (badly) with COVID trauma we’d mostly prefer to pretend never happened.

It is not easy being COVID cautious. It's crap not joining in social events. It isn't enjoyable being the only person masking. It is tough keeping quiet when being patronised by people with zero knowledge. It is all EXHAUSTING. Solidarity to everyone prepared to listen to science & put others first
