I spent this afternoon chasing tiny toads to practise some focus stacking. These cones caught my eye and had the appealing property of not trying to hop away. I find the structure of these cones fascinating Western Hemlock cone (left) and Douglas Fir cone (right). 🌿 #bloomscrolling #photography
