Can anyone explain to me why the Flyaway bus makes separate dropoff and pickup loops around LAX? The whole loop + deadhead duplicates 30 minutes of valuable schedule time. Couldn't they just loop around the bottom level once and departing flight pax can just go up the escalators? This feels insane.

I think we are in agreement - sanctions can indeed harm people and we need to balance those harms against the harms that sanctions are meant to prevent. And since you are ambivalent about some sanctions we can agree that this DSA position rejecting them in all cases is wrong.
