Didn’t learn about “compassion fatigue” til I was an adult. It’s not a moral failing but a perfectly normal response to the role of being a carer. You really do need to take care of yourself too. This goes out to all my friends who are finding themselves with new caring duties in middle age

Robert SaundersJust watched the Burnham interview on Panorama. He handles it well, as you'd expect, & is good on welfare. But the problem is that Kuenssberg just isn't a very good interviewer. The questions are designed to trap, not to inform, so you don't really learn anything (except that he's better at this)
