I like the bokeh reflections off the sea in the background here; it captures the feel of Jersey in the summer nicely.

If he'd ever met Vernor he'd know that "The Coming Technological Suingularity" was just one of an eternal wave of singularities, points where people on one side of history couldn't explain something to people on the other. Like agriculture, or the production line, or the internal combustion engine.

I'm really enjoying Claire North's Slow Gods, teasing out the small personal stories in the space opera.
