Hi Tim! Yes I know, it was a good point. My point is that leadership at all levels need to have more faith in our buses. BRT in particular is a huge missed opportunity that is not happening. With far more potential impact per $ invested

the controversy is how we end up with so many lanes for cars on arterials, creating demand for driving & delay for everyone in the whole system. A lane each way dedicated for transit, emergency vehicles and authorized commercial transport (& bikes) changes everything www.google.com/maps/place/B...

official request for BRT came to the province last summer. It was added to our list submitted to the federal government. BRT is controversial because it requires lanes, vs using empty tracks or waterways. We have seen this via the pushback from residents on projects like Bayers Rd and Robie.
