RPG towns

Профиль Vively

Hi! My name is Alice aka Ms. Towns. Here be ramblings about RPGs, Elder Scrolls memes, daily(almost) pics & vids of RPG towns. Fridays are shops, taverns & inns days. Request or send a town or an inn & your handle will be featured. She/her.

Good morning. They opened a bombshelter in our house, not sure if it helps me feel safer. I'm sorry for not posting new towns on some days, I'm a bit burned out on RPGs and I'm stressed out. it's getting better. I cook more, spend less & mom helped with debt, we don't owe too much to the bank now.

I'm going to be a contrarian and say that most of the big western RPG franchises aren't forgotten. The forgotten ones are either really old or were never that big in the first place. I can only think of Neverwinter Nights & KOTOR, but being DnD & Star Wars properties they'll probably be back.

what's everyone else's fab examples of once massively popular and influential landmark titles in especially western games from back in the day that have just been forgotten and abandoned completely now. mine is black and white

My least favorite Elder Scrolls trope(and RPG trope in general) - armor and/or weapons of orcs are curved or clearly inspired by Asian cultures. I love the designs themselves. My problem is that they are nearly exclusive to orcs, daedras(demon like guys), snake people and some such weirdos.

This. And if you think you've beaten an arcade game after feeding it endless quarters for an hour, no you didn't. You probably don't know even half of the stuff about moves, secrets etc.

Maaaan, I don't want to be all 'Back in MY day' but seeing people get mad about a openly arcade-style game being just an hour long when they paid $6 for it is wild, when arcade ports used to cost equivalent to $80+ now.
