If you haven't played, Rhythm Weightlifter is a minigame about polyrhythms. You lift weights by syncing up the left and right side of your body according to how heavy that side's weight is. You're not playing along to music, you're going completely at your own pace. Show us your best scores!

"Does Reduced Flashing affect custom levels?" Yes, but only in custom levels where the creator has tagged the vfx events properly with the new "Flashing" label. If they have, those flashes won't occur. We encourage all custom creators to do this so that people can enjoy your levels comfortably!

The choreography of the window dancing itself may itself cause eyestrain or dizziness. We're going to look into options for a more thorough rework of those levels, which might involve us making alternate versions of them. Overall, we hope the Reduced Flashing toggle is a first step towards comfort.

Please note that using this toggle still may not make the game safe for players with a history of epilepsy or severe photosensitivity. The gameplay is still intertwined with various animations and visual effects that might cause eyestrain or dizziness. For example the "window dance" levels.

The Reduced Flashing toggle is intended to reduce eyestrain by weakening or removing a bunch of instances in the game where the screen flashes white or flashes with colors. We hope that this increases comfort while playing.
