See a lesson to be learned from this. I was intimately aware my parents were older. It was only time, but to use cancer, that which has taken most of my loved ones? No, I don't understand. I am not sure my faith will survive this. So I plan to write, but right now, I'm grieving.

And could have removed the localized cancer, but now, because it's moved to another place it's incurable. Surgery is no longer an option. Recovery is no longer an option. If they suspected it, why didn't they just remove it?! And I'm angry at God. I'm sorry if you're a believer, but I cannot

Maybe I'll get a few more years with her. Maybe I won't. The doctor doesn't want to assign her a number, but that's the average. A few years. I know she's not gone yet. She's still her normal self, but I'm in limbo. I'm angry. I'm angry at doctors who have suspected she had cancer this whole time

I do plan to keep writing, but my mom was just diagnosed with Stage IV cancer. The journey to that diagnosis has been months in the making. 2 months of fear and moments of hope that have been dashed in a single diagnosis. There is no cure. No chance of remission, only treatment to buy her time.
