I swear, up to my late 20's I had never ever heard a soul talk about Columbo. I was pretty tapped into popular/well regarded TV and it never crossed my radar even once. The second I hit my 30's, I couldn't escape people referencing it. It's like I entered a new universe where it suddenly existed.

Just learned a Ghost Rider variant exists that is a T-Rex with robot arms that rides a fighter jet. Frankly, I don't think you can get much cooler than that.

I indulged in a coffee for the first time in a year after cutting caffeine and I feel like I can see the grand design of the universe. Turns out caffeine is considered a drug for a reason, damn.

Blade was my shining light to look forward to in the MCU, and they killed that, but goddammit they got me again because I am such a massive Ghost Rider mark.

Spent the last week playing through and finishing Earthbound and Mother 3 after sitting on them for ages. I'm now a Mother truther, those games are incredible

Doing what is probably my 20th rewatch of Redline, and this movie really is just one of the sickest things ever made, huh.

Just once, I want to go see a horror movie in theaters and witness someone get so scared they comically throw their popcorn up in the air like a cartoon character.

Recent thrift haul!

Re-visited Backrooms since it hit digital today and, man, I really am just a massive sucker for this mixture of liminal and analog horror. It tickles a part of my brain in a way nothing else seems to, I'm grateful for it's popularity. Recently, Routine and Skinamarink also hit just as strongly.

Incredibly cool, dude just keeps on (deservedly) winning.

I'm grateful for boutique Blu-ray publishers, not only for their passionate efforts in preservation, but because their output is one of the few ways I can -actually- find legitimately obscure titles I've never heard of, instead of the same ad nauseam "hidden gem" recommendations people tend to give.

It's really cool, and feels so awesome to just continually watch every hobby I've deeply loved deteriorate at a rapid pace.

Finally caught up on Widow's Bay and this show is a gem. Perfect blend of comedy and horror, one tone never overtaking too much and each excelling in their particular lanes. Cannot wait for season 2. Also Patricia is the best, both episodes that focus on her are by far my favorites.

Coming up on a year of being out of a job. Been tirelessly looking for a new one with no results so far, it's bad out there. Wouldn't recommend it.

People were right, "The Furious" is operating at another level. Some of the sickest shit I've seen in a martial arts film out of this thing with an all timer final fight. Go see it if you can.

Oh my god, finally. The only decent release of this movie has been in "out of print" hell for so long.
